In 2014, Hung lost his wife in a life-and-death situation filled with disinfectant smell and strange spiritual phenomena beside a burnt wooden spinning top. Twelve years later, he became a pragmatic journalist, always denying spirituality and distancing himself from Khoa – his 12-year-old son who always lives in the world of "virtual friends."
