The Collegians was the title of the first episode in 1925. The fourth series, which began in January 1929, was made "with dialogue and full sound effects," according to the 26 January 1929 Exhibitors Herald-World. The series ended in September 1929. Many aspects of film The Plastic Age were carried over to The Collegians.
